Jan 04, Colombo: Sri Lanka Ministry of Higher Education has taken steps to provide the military led leadership training to all new entrants to the universities including the monk students this year, Director General of Student Affairs of the Ministry Keerthi Mawellage said.
Accordingly, the student monks that are to be entered to two Buddhist monks' universities are also to be provided with the leadership training.
The two universities, Homagama Pali and Buddhist University and the Buddhasravaka Dharma Faculty of Anuradhapura will take 500 student monks this year.

what should be the reason for a leader ship training. Buddha taught us to be leader of our mind first, knowing one self one knows others as well.
On the way to Dharma, one will also get ride of the desire to lead.
